3rd Nine Residences comprises of the 2 main feature and concept, where a great majority of the units are built facing either the lagoon or the forest. In contrast to traditional approaches in residential design, the 'frontage' of each units are located at the rear, where crucial spaces of the houses such as the living area, dining room and master suite are oriented to capture views of the picturesque scenery of both canal and forestry.

Each stretch (row) of housing comprises of an alternating series of three unit types; corner lot, intermediate lot and end lot. An area reserved for landscaping and greenery deviates from the typical residential design to allow visual connection from the front to vistas of the rear (forest + lagoon), while residences from opposite stretches can easily access the community without trespassing others' property.
