As typically encountered when designing linked houses spatial planning is an aspect to be studied and considered thoroughly to provide the best possible living experience. For the units of Acacia Park residences, an intermediate lot is allotted with only 18' x 75' - a narrow With such confined design requirement, the challenge of designing these lots was to create a perception of every room in the house to look bigger and feel spacious. Service spaces such as bathrooms are designed to occupy the mid section of the layout, allowing maximization of space at the master bedroom's frontage, and also the two other bedrooms at the back.
Although with the design layout being attenuated, these terrace homes are well incorporated with openings to capture natural lighting efficiently that livens up the interior. Frosted glass panels of the said openings aid in reducing glare, with certain spaces such as the bathrooms naturally lit during the day with the presence of skylight voids.
